Master theses
If you want to write your master thesis in the field of "Applied Economic Policy", we expect you to have:
- A clear economic policy focus of the thesis
- A quantitative empirical or theoretical analytical approach
- A research-oriented question
- "Economic Policy and Theory" or "Empirical Economics and Econometrics" as major or minor
- Successful completion of the courses "Econometric Methods" and "Foundations of Economic Policy"

An autonomous development of research questions in the supervised topics is preferable.
If you want to write your master thesis in the field of "Innovation Economics", we expect you to have:
- A focus of the thesis on behavioral or innovation economics
- A quantitative empirical approach of analysis
- A research-oriented research question
- Successful completion of one of the following courses "Econometric Methods" or "Incentives to Innovate"
