    Objectives Doctoral students engage with the research project, present the setup of their own scientific research and the research design in a professional manner; report on the status of work on their doctoral topic and present their results systematically; gain in-depth knowledge of subject-specific areas of knowledge and current research directions; can independently relate the topics offered to their own research work.

    Topics Within the doctoral seminar on economic policy, current and prospective doctoral students present their own research project on a (preferably) economic policy issue (e.g. unemployment, education, migration, innovation promotion, etc.) and discuss it with the other seminar participants. The focus is on quantitative-empirical work.
